I had the privilege of living in Barcelona for 6 years, immersing myself in its vibrant art scene. From museums to galleries and art fairs, the city offers an endless array of creative treasures. What captivated me most was the works of Alicia Marsans and Georg Massanés. Their exceptional talent lies in their ability to capture the unique light of Catalonia - a light so distinctive.

When viewing their work, I am transported to wheat fields immersed in the rays of the setting sun or to plains as the dawn’s light fills the grass with warmth. Every time I see one of their paintings I am brought back to that very special place where both artists live.

Alicia and Georg have a way of using color and blending realism with abstraction which makes their work crisp and ultra-modern.
